Life is like a game of tag, and you haven't lived until you've played.

Everyone has played tag. You run, touch somone, "Tag, you're it!", run some more, and touch "base" so that you don't become "it".Base is the designated safe spot, the place where you don't have to worry about "it", but you can only stay there for so long.
Life is very much the same way. When you're living, taking risks, having fun, getting in trouble, moving, moving, moving forward, it's that wild feeling you get when you run from "it" which is very indictive of anything you don't want; hence; you try to not be "it".

Base. Base. Base.
Base is your "good" place. Base is where you go, or waht you do, or who you talk to when you need stability. Base is everyrthing good; comfort food, warm beds, hot chocolate, best friends, rain, sun, pajamas, your favorite song, the lake with that old, rickety bench, comfort.

So, if base is in your comfort zone, tag must not be. Tag is where you take that risk, the one you're so anxious to take.
What fun is tag if you stay on base the whole time?

sunshine.

What a beautiful analogy.

I never thought about life in this way. This is an extremely creative approach, and I love it.
